at the moment, I can only choose between Apple, Google and Open Weather. For Germany other sources like foreca, DWD and meteoblue would be highly appreciated.

Quick update on this: the latest release today adds support for additional weather sources, including multiple DWD models!
Feel free to update the app and check out the new source options in the settings.

Adding better region-specific weather sources for Germany is a great point. This has been added to the backlog to research local API options and overall feasibility for future updates.
